I adore him. He has a compo head, arms & legs. His cloth body is stuffed with excelsior. He has a cryer that doesn't work. His body is in great condition, it does show it's age as far as color and there is a tiny seam hole under his arm. His previous owner repaired has legs and painted on his shoes, then again he may have had painted shoes to begin with. He has a shallow surface crack on the shoulder plate, a tiny one by his nose and his mouth. His complexion is mottled upon very close inspection. I do have some clothes for him, I don't believe they are original but it covers his legs.
In my descriptions I detail every little thing so sometimes these precious dolls sound like they need to be trashed, even though I would never do that. This guy is adorable and all in all in great condition. He has been in my collection for about 12 years.
